Tea dress grunge

Hellooo there!
Todays post is on the Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed mask (£11 for 100mls from Boots). I only really bought this because of the whole Boots 3 for 2 deal, I always leave the shop with so many unnecessary products! I normally do a little bit of research before I commit to buying any new products but hey, Boots caught me on one of my impulse buy days. I think I was just attracted to the packaging and I didn’t really expect alot from it…
But, I like this face mask. It’s grainy, smells amazing (citrus and mint?) and it’s self heating. I believe you are meant to apply a little grape sized ball to your skin and massage in and it’s meant to turn blue, but for some reason this never turns blue on me. I like to apply this to damp skin, massage it in like a little exfoliator and then leave on for around 10 minutes. I really like this because normally I just use a plain old kaolin mask which can be quite drying, but this mask leaves your skin feeling fresh and definitely not stripped!
I have been using this once a week, and I don’t think this is a miracle product, or a spot zapper, but it definitely leaves your skin feeling detoxed, so I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice to use (sorry for the use of nice, thats so lame but it is nice) detox mask.

I have a confession… I’ve been too obsessed with my new Victoria’s secret body mists... I actually forgot I had this bad boy! It was found amongst the toilet rolls in my bathroom, I think little Trey had been having a snoop and knocked over all of my stuff in the bathroom! But anyway, let me tell you how I feel about this.
I had read really good reviews about this limited edition cologne from Jo Malone. I am partial to a cheeky wee Jasmine and Mint JM cologne, but when I read about the limited edition range I knew I needed to get involved with that. I chose this scent over Ginger Biscuit, Lemon Tart, Bitter Orange & Chocolate and Elderflower & Gooseberry, but it was a tough decision! I would happily have them all.
It does smell amazing if you like sweet smells. I could go off on one and use really elaborate words and ponsey ways to describe this BUT I’m not, it’s not my style. Let me break it down for y’all… It smells like someone has blended redcurrants, cream, half a lemon, a hint of musk and alot of sugar… And then poured it into this wee bottle. The initial smell is very strong, but that banishes after 20 minutes, and whenever I have used this I have taken it with me and re-spritzed throughout the day because I find it doesn’t actually last that long on your skin, BUT my clients have commented on it (can I just add here that I’m a beauty therapist incase anyone had dubious thoughts there) so I do think your nose gets desensitised to a fragrance throughout the day.
At £38 for 30mls, it’s not cheap, but hey ho. Sometimes in life, these things are necessary. We are women, we deserve this stuff. Has anyone else tried any of the other limited edition colognes from Jo Malone? I was actually really tempted by the elderflower one too
This is the first fashion purchases post that I have done in a wee while…It wasn’t planned! I am moving house at the moment and realised I needed some makeup transportation / storage device, hence my pop in to Primark (or as I prefer to say, PriPri)…Well didn’t I end up looking at all of the other stuff? Yeei I did.
So I just thought I would show you what I picked up! My favourite are the wee studded sandals, they have gold studs and that’s always a good thing, and they are really good quality for Primarni shoes.
Apologies for my rubbish pictures, I’m trying to do the best I can with my i-phone and the lighting in my flat can be a wee bit rubbish but that will be changing soon!
